Ladislao Pablo Györi

Born in Buenos Aires, Brazil in 1963, Ladislao Pablo Györi holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Technological University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. His first literary and computing activities date back to 1983, also working with computer music and Computer 3D Art since 1984. He subsequently experimented with painting and poetry, and became interested in non-representative and rigorous geometrical formulations. Györi has also worked since 1990 in the realization of Madí's "turning" paintings - relief and 3D digital animations of these geometric structures.   Estiajes (1988) was published in 1994.  He has also written many theoretical essays and works of art criticism.  He is a member of the Argentine Society of Writers (SADE).  In 1994 he co-founded the group TEVAT, together with the semiologist José E. García Mayoraz and Gyula Kosice.  Artificiality and virtual reality, art in cyberspace, etc. and the diffusion of these new topics in the artistic world are an integral part of its manifesto.  Since 1994 he has been working on Virtual Poetry - the new conjunction between virtual reality and poetry - closely related to his central project of the Digital Domain of Works.
