Nico Vassilakis

Nico Vassilakis lives in Seattle. He is a member of the Subtext Collective (www.speakeasy.org/subtext). Recent chapbooks include SPECIES PIECES after Perec (gong press) and STAMPOLOGUE (RASP). More of his work can be found in Chain, Talisman, 3rd Bed, 5trope, Bird Dog & Traverse. His DVD, CONCRETE: Movies is recently available and has been shown at Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin, Encuentro Internacional de Poesía Visual, Sonora y Experimental (Argentina), ERRATA AND CONTRADICTION: Dudley House (Harvard), soundvision/visionsound lll' 2005 (Massachusetts), define: book - 2005 (Seattle), Mostra Internacional de Poesia Visual (Brazil), A.V. Text-Fest (Mexico). He was publisher of Sub Rosa Press. Nico is also currently working on a play about Morton Feldman.
